UNIT 1: LIVING AND NON LIVING THINGS

UNIT 1: LIVING AND NON LIVINGTHINGS

WATCH THE THINGS AROUND US AND IDENTIFIED LIVING THINGS AND NON LIVING THINGS

WATCH AND ENJOY .............

Look around you. There are many different types of things on this earth. Do you know which are living things and non-living things.

Do you know the differences between livings and non-living things.

i.) Living things are things that are alive.
ii.)Non-living things are things that are not alive or were once alive.
Below as a lesson :

1.) Things around us.
2.) Characteristics of Living Things.

WHAT IS LIVING THINGS?

  • Living things have the ability to move in some way without outside help. The movement may consist of the flow of material within the organism or external movement of the organism or parts of the organism.
  WHAT IS NON LIVING THINGS?

  •  A non-living thing is one that lacks or has stopped displaying the characteristics of life. Thus, they lack or no longer displaying the capability for growth, reproduction, respiration, metabolism, and movement. They also are not capable of responding to stimuli or evolve and adapt to their environment. They also do not require energy to continue existing. Examples of non-living things are rock, water, and sun.

CHARACTERISTICS OF LIVING THINGS

WHAT DO LIVING THINGS NEED TO STAY ALIVE? WHAT CAN LIVING THINGS DO?
THESE ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF LIVING THINGS

Let go watch a story above:-

HUMAN REPRODUCE
  • Humans cannot live forever. Therefore, they need to reproduce or produce offspring for the next generation.
  • Reproduction ensures the continuity of the human species in this world.
  • Humans reproduce by giving birth.
  • The number of people increases when human reproduce.
 LIFE CYCLE OF HUMANS

ANIMALS REPRODUCE

  •  Animals reproduce to ensure the survival of the species.
  • Different animals reproduce in different ways.
  • Some animals give birth to the young while other animals lay eggs.

 PLANT REPRODUCE

  • A seed is a small, living byproduct of plant reproduction that can form a new plant.
  • The seed germinates and rapidly grows into a mature
  • reproductive plant within a few weeks or months.
  • Then the process of fertilization of flowers is repeated, and new seeds are produced.
